CattleMax Product Recap for 2024

As the gate has closed on 2024 and a new year begins, it’s the perfect time to recap some of the new features and enhancements in CattleMax that continue to help ranchers be even more productive!

Early 2024…

With over 93k subscribers and growing, Ranching.com is your go-to source for unbiased news, helpful advice and tips, and useful information on improving cattle management. With an experienced team of cattle ranchers carefully choosing articles from trusted sources, you get the most curated content that’s easy to review. You’ll find useful information, heartwarming stories to brighten your day, and updates on ever-changing government regulations that could impact your operation.

Summer 2024…

Keeping your farm and ranch equipment information in CattleMax makes staying organized and on top of maintenance easier than ever. Assign categories, track models, serial numbers, part numbers, and maintenance history—all in one place. You can even link equipment like mineral feeders or irrigation systems to specific pastures, so you always know where they are. Add notes and set up tasks for future maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.

Tracking pasture details and tasks in CattleMax helps you manage information in one location. These updates are especially useful during hay season, allowing you to track details such as category and forage type. You can also record whether pastures are leased or owned and assign tasks for everyday ranch work. This powerful tool keeps your pasture details organized alongside your other ranch records.

Fall 2024…

Transforming Cattle Management with Industry Leaders

The cattle industry is collaborative with many great companies and products that complement each other to help farmers and ranchers manage their cattle better. Whether it’s data interfaces with breed associations and industry groups or streamlining data entry with equipment such as cattle scales and EID readers, CattleMax carefully selects companies to partner with. Partnership opportunities will continue to expand.

Winter 2024…

Additional Enhancements Include:

  • See Treatment Date under Treatment Details on the Herd Health Screen.
  • From a report, you can now click on the Sales Ticket.
  • Sort Equipment reports by Equipment Category.
  • Sort the Cattle Sales Report by the age of the animal.
  • When entering Pregnancy Checks, the Advanced Screen will automatically show when there is AI and/or ET breeding. This will allow you to archive the breeding that did not take.
  • You can now view the dam’s MPPA score in a calf report.
  • The calving range for a breeding can now be seen under the breeding tab of a cow.
  • Preset groups that come standard with the program can be edited but not deleted – this includes Active Cows, Active Bulls, etc.

We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in 2025. As always, we welcome feedback and suggestions.
